                     Wisp

            Slivers of crimson
    And goldenrod shred from life;
              Falling into dust

Author's Comments

A Haiku I had to write for my Japanese Culture class. It's a nice comparison to my other haiku in my gallery. the older one was written when I was a Sophomore in High school.

This poem is supposed to be about fall leaves that are colorful, but die and disappear with the coming of winter.
