So, this week is pretty much the most important week of the semester. The last week before Finals. Also the same week we do Dance Finals in the Dance Department. And what's wrong with me? Crazy high Fever. That's right Gents; 101.2 degrees. And to top it all off, absolutely no medicine has been working for me today. Resulting in a bad start to said week. Missed all my classes, and no sign of being in a better condition for tomorrow's.
So yay. I hope things are going better for other people than they have been for me lately.

So I noticed recently that I'm nearing 5,000 page views. Which I think is a big deal. And since it's been awhile since I've done some art, I suppose I should create something to make this event more memorable. But I really can't think of anything.....

So anyone got any ideas or suggestions for me?? Help me be creative.

There was a shooting today at my college; Northern Illinois University. I don't usually stay at my dorm room; I'm always at my boyfriend's apartment. But today of all days, I decide to hang out in my dorm before ballet. So the shooting occurred around 3:15ish pm. My class started at 3:30pm. So around 3:20 I was just about walking out the building to get to class. So if some staff member hadn't stopped me, I would've walked directly into the thick of this mess. Since the building that this all occurred around is the next building over from my dorm. Talk about a close call. Now, though, It seems that I am stuck in my dorm; since we are advised to stay in the dorms.

Last I heard, two people were killed and at least seven were injured. Two were even taken out by helicopter. And classes for tomorrow at canceled as well. Which means people, that I'm going home to Johnsburg for the weekend.

And on top of all this, the phone network I use is so busy (or maybe all the networks are busy), that I can't call people or text them. But if someone calls me I can answer. So I can't call my father, who was on a plane to Florida while all of this was happening. And I just really wish I could talk to my dad.

I can still hear helicopters and sirens in the area.

For those who have noticed...
I've been kinda MIA here on DevArt for...oh I don't know...about two months or so.
I have been extremely busy with the last two weeks of my college semester and then finals...I thought I would have more time to devote here on DA after that...but alas, instead I have been working full time for a job to earn money for school and pay off my ongrowing debt to my father.
And now I start summer classes and my other job within a week...*sigh* So I honestly don't know how long it will be till I'm back in the swing on things here like I want to be.
I have some photography..that's about a month old, but at the time, I really wasn't happy with most of them. This just may have been a side effect of my unhappiness with the relationship I was currently in and ended. So I have hopes to upload a few things relatively soon.
And since I'm on vacation in Maine for the week...I'm hoping I'll get my inspiration back and get some beautiful photography while I'm here.
